'Pambansang Pabahay’ to rise in MisOcc

CALAMBA, Misamis Occidental--A new low-cost housing project will soon rise in Calamba, Misamis Occidental, as part of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program of the national government  with the support of the province of Misamis Occidental. The project will cover an area of 11,093 square meters in Purok 3, Barangay Northern Poblacion, and will be named "Green Hills Village." The housing program is aimed at providing affordable housing options for the people of Misamis Occidental, and it will cost around P1.10 billion. The project will consist of 5 buildings with 6 storeys each, providing 745 affordable condominium units with essential amenities to ensure that the Calambahanon and Misamisnon families have access to decent housing. MisOcc, DSWD grant P8.5-million aid to 34 associations

  TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental – The Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental, together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and local chief executives, provided P8.5M worth of livelihood assistance to 34 association representatives in the province. The livelihood grant is intended to boost the livelihood activities of the associations in the province and provide them with the necessary support to help them become productive. The program offered an incredible opportunity for individuals who wish to expand their existing enterprises and make a positive impact on their community. By taking advantage of this chance, they can explore new avenues for growth and development, which could lead to increased profitability, greater market reach, and more job opportunities for residents. Oaminal for his eagerness to uplift sports activities in the province, especially for initiating the first-ever One Asenso Misamis Occidental Palaro 2024. Henry Oaminal, has highlighted the provincial government's mission to gather all Misamisnons to work as one team.  In PALARO's opening ceremony at the Tangub City Sports Complex on February 7, Gov. Oaminal underscored the effective participation of all sports stakeholders such as educators, coaches, trainers, athletes, and local government officials, has made the event vibrant and successful, particularly on the provincial government's goal of harnessing the full potential of young Misamisnons.  Gov. MisOcc Division named overall champion in One Asenso MisOcc Palaro 2024

  TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental--Sports delegates from the Misamis Occidental Division garnered the most number of wins after the recently concluded first-ever One Asenso Misamis Occidental Palaro 2024.  MisOcc Division brought home 170 gold, 119 silver, and 145 bronze medals and was named the overall champion in the sports event in both secondary and elementary categories. The delegates will also bring home a cash prize of Php100,000. The grand champion MisOcc Division is followed by the Tangub City Division ranking first runner-up at the Palaro. They will get a cash prize of Php80,000. The Ozamiz City Division ranked second runner-up and brought home a cash prize of Php50,000; while the Oroquieta City Division landed third runner-up and received a cash prize of Php30,000. Gov.
