DepEd-10 lauds Gov. Oaminal's unifying efforts, motivating leadership
TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental—The Department of Education
in Northern Mindanao has commended Governor Henry Oaminal for pushing a
unifying and motivating kind of leadership wherein no one is left behind.
DepEd-10 Regional Director Arturo Bayocot lauded Oaminal's
initiative to push the first-ever One Asenso Misamis Occidental Palaro 2024,
likening it to a Regional Athletic Association Meet.
“On behalf of the Department of Education, we will never
tire ourselves thanking the leaders of the province, cities, and municipalities
with the spirit of support of Second District Rep. Sancho Fernando “Ando”
Oaminal and First District Rep. Jason P. Almonte of this great Misamis
Occidental expressing our gratitude and thanks for making this a spectacular,
the first One Asenso Misamis Occidental Palaro 2024,’’ Bayocot said during his
speech.
He said the recently concluded sports event could be the
epitome of unifying leadership after gathering talented athletes and skilled
Misamisnon learners.
Bayocot also recognized the relentless efforts and
unwavering investment by the provincial, city, and municipal leaders,
particularly the support and participation of local government units, just make
sure the sports event would be a successful one.
“I know that the investments of leadership, support, and
physical prowess are now put together to make this event as spectacular
success. First time nahitabo nga ang mga per provinces in the region will now
join together forces so that in the upcoming regional meet we will just
bringing One Voice, One Asenso Misamis Occidental,” he said.
"DepEd could not have done it alone and appreciated the
LGU leaders for prioritizing education and the well-being of their
constituents," he added.
Bayocot likewise thanked Gov. Oaminal for leading the province
